Saw Kate’s test knit at Green Mountain Spinnery’s Rhinebeck booth and bought the yarn on the spot. I got the same gauge as Kate and knit the same size, so I knew it would wind up smaller than 44 inches (that’s what I wanted). I also knew I’d be playing yarn chicken, which is one reason only picked up 80 st for the sleeve ribbing. Should have added a few more stitches but it’s fine.

Thea’s patterns are perfect, but I must remember that my own knitting requires me to go down a needle size for hems, which will always flare if I don’t. I did use size 6 for the sleeve ribbing, which does not flare.
