I enjoyed this knit apart from the border rows 5, 6 and 7.I believe there is an error on row 5 - at the end it says to repeat across to the last m2 but then it also says to knit to last m2. I pm’d the designer but didn’t hear back.

I’m not sure if it was the pattern or if I made some errors somewhere but a few of the rows around here didn’t work out at the end, but I fudged it where I needed to.

I think rows 6 and 7 are ok as printed but it was hard for me to understand what to do with the double yo from row 6. I learnt that it’s ok because the first one on the return is knit as the last stitch of the k7, and then the yo then anchor’s the 2nd one before you use the 2nd yo from row 6 as part of the ssk.

Overall very pleased with the finished (unblocked) item which I am sure will be even better after blocking.

I’ve heard back from the designer and she has agreed row 5 has an error at the end. The knit to last m2 shouldn’t be there. She is updating the pattern.

Now blocked. I love the size of this.

I was surprised how much dye came out when I rinsed out the shawl before blocking.
