Pieces are easy to knit. Putting together is a bit more difficult, especially those fluffy ears! I knit most of the pieces on my commute to London one day a week. Hence it took me some time to complete.

I stiffened the brim of the hat with a carboard ring before hair spraying.

I used toy eyes rather than embroidering as it’s not going to be used as a toy - it’s really a reminder for myself of my fab trips Down Under (and an entry to the craft fayre!).

He looks nothing like a koala until you get that nose on!
