Started with the intro (naturally)and have completed 3 of the 18 pieces required for the book cover and interior walls of the room!

All the basic pieces finished.
Stylescraft special Cypress for the carpet.

Part 1 - Chimney breast and fire back completed and sewn to the wall.
Steylecraft special in Camel for the Chimney breast. Oddment of black for the fire back.

Part 2 - Fireplace surround and mantelpiece also completed and added. Oddment of an oatmeal colour used (from the Countryside blanket by Debbie Abrahams)

Part 6 - Cushion for chair - pale pink, finished off with a tiny green button
Part 7 - Rug - variegated yarn including the colours used already

All using oddments from my stash.

Part 8 Clock - completed with oddments of yarn in brown and cream
Part 9 Leaf Garland - oddment of dark green yarn embellished with red beads
Part 10 Wreath - same green yarn as the garland embellished with dark red ribbon

Completed 26/11/17 :
Part 11 - lightshade
Part 12 - wall picture
Part 21 (yes out of order) - basket of yarn and knitting - made out of order as I thought it would be easier to fix to the floor before it was assembled.

Then the room part of the book was assembled - joining all the walls and the back cover and spine. Looks a bit wobbly in the photo and it might need some sort of “block” under the font corner to help it stand level, but waiting until it’s finished before sorting this out.

ps I’ve added a little dog ornament to the rug.

Parts 13 and 14 - Tree
completed 27.11.17. Decorating the tree was time consuming as I wanted lots of beads on it. But worth the effort in the end.

Part 15, 16, 17 18 (window and accessories around and through the window)
Part 19 (presents) and part 23 (paper chain)

These now complete the inside front of the room, but not yet attached to the book cover.

I added a few white seed beads for the snow and tied the parcels with gold thread.

Part 20 Front of book and start assembling front to room etc
Part 24 stockings

Done and dusted. Looking so good now.

Part 22 is the strap to keep it closed. Knitted but haven’t got buttons so can’t add it yet. Will hunt the buttons and add on this week hopefully.
