Notes

Yummy evo in Dapper, starting with sandy coloured end. Will be similar to his big brother’s koolhaas hat, except transitioning to blue instead of rusty red!

This is one of my favourite hats EVER. I think it is a stunning choice for a gradient or evolution yarn, and I love Twisted Fiber yarn with this pattern!

The yarn is Yummy, which is wonderful and wears beautifully. No piling.

Koolhaus pattern is great. Architectural! Made much more sense now that I’m knitting it for a second time. Didn’t get lost.

This time I made the large size - which just hits me at the bottom of my earlobe. If you have a very big head, then go bigger!

Note that Yummy is a DK / 8 ply instead of the Worsted / 10 ply that the pattern calls for… hence a bit smaller too.

My son has decided this is too small, so going to undo the crown-decrease section and knit a bit extra!
… added ?2 more sections. Now it is on the large size. But I’m done fiddling with this hat - no more adjustments. We love it!

Note that top 3 photos are the modified hat - with extra blue added (yay! pretty part of the colour way), vs original bottom 3 photos.
