First Ripley hat for little nephew Sid! This is my go-to hat for our whole family. Everyone loves it, children and grownup alike. The gathers at the back effortlessly maintain a great slouchy look to the hat! And even better, it knits up in one or two evenings. :-)

I knit from the blue end of the stargazer gradient colour way. I did NOT do the “extra slouchy” section (i.e. 10 extra rows) and this was a size small. So only used ¾ of a skein, not reaching the final purple (see photo).
