Beyond the initial chain of 142……if you can count to 3, you can make this blanket. Very soothing to crochet once you memorize the pattern. I liked that the pattern was also available in symbols - after reading the verbal instructions and then looking at the symbols it was super easy and as I said, soothing. I know I’ll be making this pattern again….:P Also the yarn….let me talk about the yarn. Never used Babe before, was one of those yummy yarns when you touch it you know you want to do something with it. Yarn was a wonderful baby yarn that doesn’t split when working with it. Bought it at Fiber Circle in Farmersville, TX…(I absolutely love this store) Will be going back for more colors in this yarn.
