I found a granny square pattern I liked on YouTube from Tuba Crochet. It used about the same amount of yarn as one of the Little Love squares from the footrest covers.

The square is a little over 4”, so that should work for 3x3 for the 13” bag nicely.

The picture of the bag with the first square also shows why I want to cover this tote -- it’s a magnet for cat hair!

The squares are all done and joined into 2 3x3 panels plus a strip of nine to go around the sides and bottom.

The sides of the bag are 7”. The side squares are about 4 1/2” with the joining round, so I need to add 1 1/4” of moss stitch on either side before I do the last of the join.

There are two mini-skeins left and I’ll use these to make two more coasters for my coaster basket with them and then this Scheepjes Colour Pack of 109 will all be used up in 5 different useful projects.
