Notes

Not exactly a Harbour Blanket since I am not using Lucy’s beautiful color pack, but it is the stitch pattern from the CAL. Instead, I’m using yarn from stash.

Swatch is 10” x 3”
After a little algebra, starting chain is 136 (7 x 19 + 3).

Color 1 = Scuba (2 skeins)
Color 2 = Spearmint (2 skeins)
Color 3 = True Blue (1 skein)

Color stripe sequence:

(1 2 1 3 2 1 2 3)*

Each sequence should be around 10” tall, so ideally 6 stripe sequence repeats, but we’ll see if I have enough yarn. I’ll weigh/measure after the first sequence to see how much I’ve used.

I finished the first few rows last night. It is a very simple pattern that should go quickly. I chose beachy colors and a quick pattern because I’d like to give this to my nephew and his wife for their beach house in RI, and Christmas is one month away!

After 2 repeats of the color sequence, I’m at 48” x 20”. Easy, fun pattern and the colors are very nice and beachy.

Lucy’s Easy Eyelet Ripple Border of 5 rounds of single crochet finished this off nicely. After a wash and a tumble dry, the yarn also softened up nicely, and I used up all but a few ounces of the 5 skeins I started with, and it’s the perfect size.
