Notes

Blanket #5 in this pattern. This time in blues and purples for C’s bestie, Sophie, to take away to university.

I finished the first two colors (through row 20) and now just have to wait for the rest of the yarn to arrive from Lion Brand.

The rest of the yarn arrived today, just in time to take it off on our weekend trip.

I worked on this in the car on the way to the Berkshires, then while sitting on the lawn, waiting for a Tanglewood concert to start. It came in handy during the performance when it got cool. I had just woven in the ends on the fourth color stripe and it was lovely to snuggle under while listening to the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

All done and ready to gift. I decided to use all dark, rich colors since I had extra because of an accidental order from Lion Brand. This leaves me with 4 skeins of lighter blues/purples that I’ll use for a continuous granny square to donate. These are my favorite colors and this was a total pleasure to make!
