Notes

I found this super cute Popcorn Bucket Scarf on Etsy and decided it would make an adorable companion to the Film Roll Scarf. Hannah (the film major) and her boyfriend like to do cute couples costumes on Halloween, so I’m guessing they’d think it was fun to wear matching scarves to the movies.

I purchased the pattern on Etsy today. I’m planning to take this on my San Antonio trip, along with the Blooming Star Hexagons project.

I can’t believe I forgot to put my hook in the project bag! I couldn’t work on this on the airplane!! Fortunately my sister-in-law is a crocheter and came to my rescue when we got to her house.

I pulled out what I had done so far, which was only six red stripes, and started again without the BLO/FLO since that made the scarf have a right side and a wrong side. Plus it’s slower and doesn’t really add anything (popcorn buckets are smooth). I considered just going to alternating 2 rows of each color in HDC, but decided to not stray completely from the pattern
