I freehanded a simple basket to hold C’s coasters but made a mistake (worked in the front loop rather than the back loop on the first side round), and it was just a tiny bit too big and a bit bowl-shaped. So, I made a second one with one round less on the base and it was just right. (I’ll keep the reject for myself to keep my glasses in on my bedside table.)

I used one of the “Made with Love” tags that I got with my temperature blanket gauge patch order (I needed to add something else to get it over the free shipping amount). I think it makes it look more special so I may get more of these in the future. They’d also be nice for gifted blankets.
