Helen’s mini CAL is starting 7/14/17 and will be released over 3 Fridays. I’ll do this with my left-over Paint Box pack yarn, and finish with Innings 9 - 16 of Around the Bases if I have enough yarn.

Got started on this today after finishing off my Attic24 Hydrangea blanket. So far it is fun but I wish I hadn’t put the Violet and Bluebell right next to each other so much in the early rounds because there’s not sufficient contrast.

Will start with round 9 tomorrow, though we have a busy day planned.

Part 1 finished! Nothing tricky so far.

Finished Part 2 tonight. This is a very, very fun project. I did this part from the pattern until I got to the very last round (25) when I got tired and had Helen show me how it was done. :)

Stitching done! Tomorrow I will block it (it really needs it) and it will be 100% done.

I love that this is 82 stitches, which is perfect for Around the Bases (which must start with a multiple of 6 minus 2). I will definitely use this as the center for another AtB baby blanket so I can make the second half of that pattern.
