Notes

I happened to pick up a few balls of magenta yarn at a discount store…. and this started! :-)

Pattern - ENGLISH TERMS USED - tr = US dc, dtr = US tr, dc = sc. (Sorry it’s a bit sketchy! LOL)
Flower squares -Centre: In pink - Work ch ring, join. Work (2tr, 2 ch) x 6, join to start.
Next: Into each ch sp, work 2 tr, 2 ch, 2tr, join to start. Break off.
Next: in white - join to the beg of a tr group of 4 with a ch sp in the middle and work 1 tr into each first 2 tr, (1 dtr, 1 ch, 1 dtr) into ch sp, 1 tr into each last 2 tr, 1 ch.
Work this way for all six corners. Break off.
Next - in blue: Work 1 dc into each st UNTIL THE CENTRE OF EACH SIDE OVER THE CH ST - work one drop st into the sp between tr groups in last pink row - and (1 dc, 1 ch, 1dc) into each ch sp.
Next - Work 1 dc into each st on sides, and (1 dc, 1 ch, 1dc) into each ch sp. Break off. (I think that should make 60 sts)
In BLACK to create circle - (might be easiest to start in the middle of one side) Work 1 tr in ea on sides to last 2. Work 1 htr (US hdc) into next, then 1 dc, then sl st into the corner ch. Work 1 dc into next, 1 htr into next, then tr in each to last 2. Rep to end. Break off.
In BLUE to create square - 1 dc in next 3, 1 htr in next, 1 tr in next 2, 1 dtr next, 2 ttr (triple treble = yoh x 3) in next, 1 ch. 2 ttr (triple treble = yoh x 3) in next, 1 dtr next, 1 tr in next 2, 1 htr in next, 1 dc in next 2. (If you have more than 60 sts, add extra dc to the others evenly as you can to the 4 sides)
Work one tr row of purple, one row of maroon, one row of pink. Make 4. CENTRE FLOWER SQUARE - see pics for colour guide.
The blue squares are just worked in treble (US = dc). The squares between the flower squares are small squares joined, then extra rows added across top and bottom. The triangular blue corners are just worked across one side of a square, decreasing each end of every row (2 ch, sk 1, 1 tr in ea to last 2, sk 1, 1 tr, turn) The multi triangles are made with 1 larger square, 2 smaller squares and the smaller triangles filled with what looks like about 5 ch from one corner, then a dtr into every second tr around the triangle space. Maybe sl st back to the starting chains? 5 ch & join to next corner. Something like that.
The outer border is made up of odd squares and rectangles. Some are offset - just work a centre square and then work over 2 sides only.
Hope the extra pictures help! Just message if you have questions.
