Notes

This is still another copy of this pattern, which is oh-so-lovely.

I used two types of lace yarn held together: Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace in a teal/blue held together with Filatura di Crosa Superior (colorway 8), and then fyberspates purple held together with Filatura di Crosa Superior also in purple.

Because I am tiny and didn’t want the poncho falling off my shoulders, I CO only 78 sts, using #5 circular, and gradually increase needle size, and added 2 sts to “knit all rows in the round for about 10-12 rows. By the time I got to the K1 YO, section of the pattern (which also increases total stitches by doubling from 80 to 160) I am using a #9 needle. From this point I continue as directioned, that is until the border ending. I substituted another pattern lace border (taken from swallowtail shawl), but stopped before I knitted the “tail” lace ending. I prefer rounded hems to pointed tail-like hem.
