7/16/12 - I’ve waited months to begin this project. The latest shawl is done - yeah!; summer school is over - yeah!, and now I can knit, knit, knit for the next six weeks.

I’m digging Fyberspates lace yarn. What I love most is the color vibrancy, at least with respect to the colors I like best. I hope my senses are correct: this should be a quick project. I’ll report back.

7/17/12 - All going well with this project, except for my impatience. I want it done sooner than the speed with which my fingers knit.

7/21/12 - Finished and blocked “back” of top. I finished off the neck line with two knit rows, and then a tight bind off to give the neckline a little curve. I’m working on the front, and hope to knock it out and sew the two pieces together within the week.

7/26/12 - FINISHED entire project. Like many other members, I finished the armholes in a single b/o crochet. I also made the shoulder straps thick, 10 pieces of lace yarn, crochet chain straps.
