Wanted to use the the yarn left over from my recent cowl.

Started with a size G for swatch - looked too small which makes sense as it’s a DK yarn. So I went up to a Size H and that seemed pretty good. BUT when I got to row 5 and checked everything out it was clear I was large -- about 24 inches at the band large. Eep. My head is a larger 221/2 to 23 but still -- 24 is too big even for my husband!

So back to a size G and try that again cause swathes gonna be bitches, apparently.

Seems like G is working out. Could have gone down one for a much more snug fit. Hmm. Going to stick with G for now.

Not sure why I thought you would work the CC and then add the MC all at a go rather than row by row. It’s a near effect, though, as written.
