I’m using all kinds of double knit wool in this experiment. Looking bright and bold!

The blanket now has 53 squares and is getting quite big! Still enjoying the process of choosing the next colour to add to the blanket. I managed to find some more of the very bright Patons Fab variegated wool that I began with in the centre at the weekend and have now added this in again.

The latest picture shows the blanket with 90 squares - it is now very big and I’m still not sure where I’m going to stop. I think I’m heading for double bed size now.

Hit the 100 square mark at the weekend. Slow progress due to the crocheted blanket I’ve been working on.

13/9/2014 I think I only have one more row of squares to do. It now covers most of a double bed (minus pillow area) and I think it is big enough. Just need to tidy up all the ends and then construct a border of some kind - probably crochet with all rounds of all the colours that I’ve used.
