Several people at my crochet club are having a go at this after we had a quick tutorial.

Once you get the hang of the pattern it is not too hard. As the shawl gets larger it takes a long time to get round each row.

The yarn is beautiful and very fine. I’m now on the second skein.

Finally finished this by adding a border. I’d forgotten how fine the yarn is. Need to block this now to bring out the details of the pattern.
