This draft came from the book A Weaver’s Book of 8 Shaft Patterns Edited by Carol Strickler on page 70.

The particular draft I chose I really loved the diamonds. I want this to resemble the sea with sand and water coming in and out. I just love Shadow Weave and what it produces. It is calming to look at on my coffee table with my Coast Knits book on top. I now have a beach them in my living room. I like to change season to season. I get bored with the same stuff.

10/5: I thought I was done. I kept looking at the braided edge and did not like it. So I made an inkle band binding. I need to work on making my selvage edges straighter. Anyways, rather put the band on it. Sewing the band was a challenge and just did what I thought was best. Glad it is officially done.
