A testknit for Sari Nordlund!

I knew I had to knit the Fika Pullover the moment I saw it on Instagram so I am happy I have the possibility to testknit this beautiful sweater.

Yarn
I first wanted to knit the sweater in De Rerum Natura Gilliatt, a yarn I like a lot and which is used in the original sweater. But when I went to my local yarnstore Wolatelier Tilburg I fell in love with the Isager Jensen. It has the same meterage per 100 gram as the Gilliatt and I think I can get gauge with this yarn even though it is listed as a dk weight and the Gilliatt as a worsted weight.

Collar
The collar has a beautiful tubular cast on. Looking very neat!

Cables
The body starts with twisted stitches. After that small cables which become bigger and bigger. It might look complicated but it’s not. Once you are at the biggest cables, you only do a cable twist every 10 rounds.

Mods
I made the body and the sleeves a little bit longer.
Further I followed the pattern which is perfect as it is!

I love all the nice finishing details.
