Notes

When I saw the racer back lace panel on this vest I knew it was something I wanted to make. I was hoping the variegated yarn I used would give it a tie-dye look, but it ended up more striped … I still like it though :-)! I improvised a little on the pattern by incorporating the lace design into the front panels of the vest just to break up the monotony of stockinette stitch. Since I used one size larger needle and one weight lighter of yarn my gauge was off a little, but the pattern was easy enough to make adjustments on that. Very clear directions and a pleasure to knit. Next on my to-do list will be the cute top that goes with the vest.
