I really enjoyed knitting these Christmas baubles. Once you’ve knitted one it’s easy to understand the basic pattern and create your own design or incorporate other patterns.

These baubles use 7cm polystyrene balls that I bought on ebay. I used the same 2.5mm needles and yarn for all the designs.

The star bauble is from the Balls Up! pattern.
The interlocking diamond is the same Balls Up! shape with a 13 row design from my Fair Isle Knitting book.
The others designs are from 55 Christmas balls to knit, but adapted to work around the polystyrene ball and have an i-cord loop.
