Love the bounce and the good color intensity.

Finished pretty quickly. Nice pattern but a couple of things:

• The shawl seems to have a bump at the center along the straight side. I was able to block it ok, but the center of the shawl rolls down. I actually like the effect - but the knitter should know.
• I wish the navy was closer in shade to the dark shade in the variegated yarn. But again, it is ok and the navy doesn’t really show that much.
• The pattern isn’t that difficult, but you can’t use stitch markers so you have to pay attention. I kept making mistakes on the first two sessions. It actually was getting a bit funny.
• The last section was my favorite. I love knitted-on edgings.
• I used less than half of each color. I need to find another shawl.

Can’t wait until it turns cold - this really is beautiful and I think will be very wearable.

04/26/14 - Finished the second section and started the knitted on edging. The attachment uses the Ssk. I am deciding if I like this or want to change to K2tog.

04-21-14 - Finished with the Navy. Followed the pattern and used .42 168 yards of the navy.
