I originally had posted the wrong yarn for this - actually I used 50/50 merino/silk yarn spun from a 50gr bag I received in the NZFS fibre swap, dyed by artemisartemis.

I slipped the first stitch of every row, knitwise for knit rows and purlwise for purl rows but I can’t say that it improved the edges, really. Another time I would just knit or purl as the stitches come.

All done - I added flowers instead of leaves at the ends. Lovely and drapey and a really easy quick knit, even in the car!
