I made 2 sample designs.

In the first sample, I used Mechita by Malabrigo for the main color and Heartwood by Bumblebirch for the contrast color used in the lace as it has such great stitch definition for a lightweight yarn.

The 2nd sample, I used Sea Silk without the eyelet ribbons and all in one color (smoke) for an elegant, dressy version. I wore this to a black tie event over a black velvet dress and I must say it was stunning :).

I’d like to see this in a gradient yarn as the construction is top down. I think it would be splendid! It would even look great to have a different color for each section in the triangle…. lots of options!
