Some notes:
I ended up doing 3 gusset rounds (I didn’t start them soon enough) but needed even these 3 to get the sock over my ankle. I used Lori’s Twisty Bindoff for the first sock - this also doesn’t fit well over my ankle. So, I tried Jeny’s Suprisingly Stretchy Bindoff for the second one. I don’t love the buckled look of it, but it fits better. I may pull out the binding on the first one and have another go.

But for a 1st attempt at socks - pretty awesome!!
