I cast on size 4 with 5mm needles and unblocked it’s looking like it’s already 20” across. Per the schematic the shoulder width should be 20.5” and I still need to add 2” of ribbing.

This yarn is pretty grippy so I don’t think it’s going to stretch out too much.

I’m not sure if I want to go down a needle size or cast on a size 3. I might knit a few rows on a 4.5mm just to see how pleasant the knitting experience is.

Not sure if the smaller size/needles is right. My row gauge is definitely short.

Maybe down another size and up a needle size? Size 2 on 5.5mm? I really should block ugh.

I think I’m going to try size 4 on 5mm needles.

My row gauge was way too short with 4.5mm needles. And 5.5mm needles my stitch gauge was too big.

Going to do the armhole and neckline ribbing before finishing the front and back. Did one less row around the armhole. Can I finish by Wednesday?? It will be close.

I didn’t do any increasing for the ribbing and I think I could have even decreased a few stitches.
