After knitting 3 pumpkins, I’m not sure I ever got the false decreases correct, but after cinching the bottom closed it doesn’t seem to matter too much. After the first one I was able to knit them mostly from memory.
This was such a good pattern. Very thorough, and the best pumpkin pattern I saw available. I sewed up little 2” circle beanbags to weight the bottom of each.

Tiny pumpkin:

• Start as per pattern
• Stop increases early at round beginning with k4 (and the subsequent k all sts round)
• Begin decreases early after 12 neutral rounds (6 repeats of 2-row neutral pattern)
• Continue as per pattern through to end

Ran out of yarn under pumpkin and switched back to Rosewood colorway for final 4 rounds
