Notes

Gauge: US 2.5 swatches too long, US 2 was closer.
Options: After looking at other Evelyn Top projects knit up, I’ve picked the thin strap option.

01-10-2024

I added short rows at the bust to act as what I think ended up being bust darts?? Unfortunately my turns were visible on one side.

I also added an inch to the length on top of the centre front being longer from the short rows.

To block, I put wires in the side seams and threaded a wire inside the double-knit button band so that the pins didn’t pull. The top had to be pulled fairly tightly width-wise.

It fits great! I tried it on periodically and was worried it was going to be tight, but after blocking to gauge it fit as it was supposed to.

In the end, this took less than 2 skeins of Fieldling!
