I felt that the hat pointy-ness could be countered by adding a nice neon pompom!

mods:
-adding an extra section of the cables, so instead of 5 reps per row, I did 6 reps. This was because the hat band looked frighteningly small (for an adult head) once I knitted about 3 inches of the hat.
-changed the ending of the rope cables to be less clunky (and match the start of the rope more too)
