I’m doing a 2-color version, in the colors of Michigan State in time for “the big game” (aka Rose Bowl on New Years Day!)

After doing 10 rows in broken rib, I decided I didn’t like it very much and reverted to stockinette for the body. And then I went off track on the stripes, so the only similarity to the original pattern and what I made is the brim :)

Note about the yarn: Cocoon is so springy that it makes really ugly, loose ribbing, so next time I’d do twisted stitch rib to make it look cleaner.
