I wanted to do a colorwork sweater that was inspired by some of the colors I frequently saw in Iceland. Aqua for the icebergs of Jokulsarlon, and bright red-orange for the coats that stand out against all the beautiful Icelandic landscapes :) Like MY coat.

After knitting most of the yoke, I decided that I wanted the tomato color to be the garter ridges instead of the stockinette stripes, but I still wanted aqua for the body so I switched A&B colors when I got to the body.

It set me back about half a week, but I’m gonna bleed into December only by a few days because Thanksgiving knitting got me back on track!
