Mods:
-Started at 3x3 ribbing portion to get a boatneck, using size 7 needles
-For increases, did m1R in center of knitted columns so the columns would grow outwards more seamlessly.
Did m1P L on edges of purl columns so they’d blend in better!
-Divided for sleeves at a point where it was natural for my arm, not exactly when the pattern specifically directed
-Changed what stitches were used for sleeves to make the ribbing align perfectly!
-I knit very tightly, so essentially I “went down a needle size” by knitting the body with the suggested needles (size 8)
-Added waist shaping, plus a back tuck that aligned with the center back ribbing. 7 repeats over 3 inches, and 6 stitches removed each decrease rep (2 on each side, 2 on the back)
-Cropped the body to end at my waist
-Knitted the bottom ribbing 3x3 to match my top ribbing since I skipped 2x2
-Used size 6 needles on bottom ribbing
-Decreased arm stitches down to 42 rather than 48 to fit my hand better
-Knitted wrist cuffs separately from edge up (42 stitches with 3x3 ribbing), to control shape & length. Then, grafted them on to the sleeves.
