I woke up on Nov 7 inspired and hopeful. Usually I feel pretty pessimistic in the morning (I sleep fitfully and therefore very much not a morning person), so the positive feeling I had drove me to design this pennant!

After some disparaging comments during a debate, the lines “Nasty Woman” and “I’m With Nasty” became rallying cries to support Hillary against a probable dictator. Using the idea of a rallying cry, I designed this pennant with fun typography of that now-famous phrase. Because Nasty Women vote.

It’s still blocking, but when it’s dry I will add some fabric to the back to remove the curl (didn’t like the look of edge stitches) and make it more like a real sports pennant.
