I’m noticing a funny neck in a lot of people’s projects, where it looks like mock turtleneck with a long back neck

As I already dislike tight necklines, I’m going to widen it by 20 st and also do less short rows. Using US 4 needles, I cast on 120 + 5 for the steek. Doing 2x2 rib because I think it looks a lot nicer, except the steek area, which will be stockinette.

Started over with a new color palette of almost entirely orange!

Picked back up a few months later, forgetting how exactly to move on. Because I dropped the neckline, the Y-shaped colorwork panel got shifted below the part where the sleeve divide happens. So in order to keep that section in, I had to rework the math of what goes into the sleeves, to make sure it’s all a multiple of 13. Instead of 57 st per sleeve for my size, they each get 52, and instead of casting on 15 for each underarm, I cast on 13. The body was supposed to have 211 stitches (not counting underarm cast-on), but instead it gets 221. It all works out though!
