The v1 I made left me unhappy, but with a few modifications I made this version work perfectly.

Beforehand I reworked the charts to show which blocks of color go together, then used more butterflies of yarn so there were no long strands of yarn running across the back.

I also added more stitches (52 total instead of 44) because I knit tightly (moving up a needle size only helped in making the holes bigger and ruining the tension even more. More stitches proved to be much nicer).

And finally, I knitted these in the round to avoid seaming, then during the pattern areas knitted it flat so it corresponded with the thumb opening. :D
