I’m hoping this won’t be too itchy for a baby! I thought alpaca was cool for kids, so it might be the other half that’s rough…sigh. I was going for a rustic look, which the parents will prefer, but I hope this is a usable garment as well!

Used a lot less yarn than the pattern called for. Although I omitted a few rows at the body’s end after the short rows, because I was ready to move on to the arms, this wouldn’t account for using 150 yards LESS than the pattern’s yardage requirements.
