Ah, as usual, I’m attracted to Brooklyn Tweed colors, but it TEARS SO EASILY! Honestly, how does anyone make ribbing look nice when you can’t pull the yarn tight between stitches, or otherwise snap this stupidly delicate yarn?! Ugh. Rant over.

Knitted an inch with the BT, and couldn’t stand it. Snap snappity snap. NOPE. Now I’m plying some TML since my husband liked the look - two strands of Baltic to one strand of Kelp to make a denser tonal fabric.

After testing some newer BT Shelter at the yarn store where I work, I found that they’ve strengthened the yarn a little. I bought some new colors, since my husband was so attracted to the subtle tweed, but so mad that I have two useless skeins of Cast Iron that tear with gentle tugs >:(
