My friend has a tiny head so I didn’t size up the needles as I normally do to account for my tight knitting. Then, when blocking, I kept the balloon on the small side as to not stretch it out too much before it is fitted to her head.

This was sort of a tedious, repetitious pattern. But it has a nice end result at least.
