Made this for my dad for Christmas. I resized a little to be for DK-weight, and shorter so it takes up less space on his forehead.

I knitted this once, but it was a little unbalanced from top to bottom, so I added in a few extra rows to make it more mirrored around the Latvian braids. One was an extra solid gray row right at the beginning. Another was an extra solid gray row at the end right before bind-off, so it would twist a little away from the braid. Plus, I bound off on the WS of work to get that edge to point west like the rest of the patterning!
