Notes

I wanted to make a high-quality, neat, smart and cosy neck warmer for my dad who runs a gourmet chocolate market stall, often outdoors or in draughty venues. It needed to coordinate with his classic style, so this smooth, tweedy yarn was a perfect choice.
I developed a fairly simple rectangle pattern with a semi-random basket-weave of alternating stockinette and reverse-stockinette stitch to create a broken ribbed texture that allowed the tweed fabric to feature. The garter stitch border incorporates four buttonholes in one end.
The wrap is finished with four wooden toggles along the opposite end plus three more similarly spaced along an adjacent side. This allows for very versatile fastening.
Chart included.
