Changed my mind, decided I needed something with some nylon in it. Heritage sock it is!

More changes: I started on this sock, got all the way to the 20th round of the foot, and decided it was too loose and to big. Rrrrip!

Changed from US 2.5 (3mm) to US 2 (2.75mm), and am now making this a size Medium instead of Large.

I’m back up to the end of Round 18 and I like this sizing much better.

This sock will be due at about 8AM on Easter Sunday, which is fine by me. If there’s a few days gap again as there was after Round 1, I will be happy as I am getting the cross-linking done on my left eye on April 6, aka Easter Monday.

Stopped at work halfway thru Round 6 second repeat.

Stopped for the night at the end of Gusset Round 2/Instep Round 27.

Oof. Was 8 rounds into the gusset - and when I got to the end of the round, there was a HUGE HOLE. I’d apparently DROPPED the yo st at some point and it ran all the way back to the point of the gusset. Blergh. Not fixable, so frogged back to the start of the gusset and began again.

This time I put the gusset increases on the same round as the eyelets, so all the hard stuff would be on the same round.

Started Gusset Rounds on Chart A Round 27, so 28 is 2, 29 is 3, 30 is 4, and 3 is 5.

Ended for the evening at the end of Chart A Round 14, which leaves me with 2 more Gusset Increase rounds, should end gusset on Chart A Round 18. I have marked up my PDF with notes for the next sock as well.

Stopped for the evening at the end of Leg Round 11. I did the heel turn yesterday, but fell asleep with my project in my hands!

Stopped for the night after 5 rounds of the ribbing. Need sleep before doing super stretchy bind-offs.

Stopped for the night at the end of Foot Round 18. Doesn’t seem very far, does it? Well, that’s because I started the second sock at 4:30, got all the way up to where I am now, and realized that the increases in the toe were wonky. As in, around the 18th round of the toe. I did another round of the foot, decided that it was just too noticeable, and ripped it out and started it again.

Weirdly I’m stopping at the same spot I stopped on the FIRST sock, 6 days ago. O_o

Stopped for the evening at the start of the final Round 9 of the leg. I hope I can get these done - only 9 spots left to advance! Yikes.
