I’m starting out with a dc border after joining the squares. I would like to add a decorative edge as well. Will scour my patterns when I’m done with the initial border!

In the end I did a round of dc in Aran, then a round of sc in a RH hot pink, I don’t remember the exact name. Then, I got out my copy of “Around the Corner Crochet Borders” and picked something more fancy for the final border. lol I decided to go with Border #77, and I can’t believe it, but I actually found a project that works well with RH’s Bikini colorway. lol ;)

Ends woven in and all finished! This border was pretty simple but effective, it looks cool and really pulls the afghan together. lol

I will say that I was initially questioning why I needed to do triples when doubles would have worked just as well for R2 and would make them lay (lie?) flatter BUT in the end, I like the triples. It adds interesting dimension and texture to the project.
