6/19: I started and re-started about 10-15 times. Though simplistic, I had difficulty with corners. I finally resorted to “Howbadcanitgo.com”; a lot clearer.

I changed pattern a little. I wanted a rectangle, so I knit 14 ridges/28 rows, then started corners. I also am using the entire balls of Noro Kureyon yarn, then change to another ball of color (#40),I love the look of this.

I’m loving the looks of this afghan as it progressing nicely. I wished I had made it more ridges in the beginning.
7-27-20
The size of my afghan is now 42” x 48”, again I wished I had made the first rectangle a bit longer. But I’m still loving it.
12-17-21
It’s growing slooowly 50” x 54”. I’m still loving the variety of colors. Glad I chose this pattern.

Though fun this has been an ongoing project for years. Originally, I was going to make Log Cabin afghan, but I saw I had to sew the blocks I changed my mine and decided to do this instead.
These are the colors I’ve used: All Noro Kureyon
40, 259, 175, 209, 170, 233, 219, 207, 102, 226, 215, 195, 254, 220, 256, 429, 319, 102, 212, 311, 447, 354, 448, 411, 226, 354, 139, 359 (27 balls of Noro)
I changed the join a little. I slip the last stitch as to purl and knit through the back of slipped stitch and picked up stitch. At this time I have 9 balls left, but I’m not sure if I’ll use them or buy brighter colors.
6/26/26: I finally finished this!! It got to be too heavy to carry around. I was thinking of doing one more row, NO.
