I made this one bubble narrower than the full pattern in order to lessen the odds of playing yarn chicken. I had the amount called for by the pattern, so I don’t know why I was afraid of that, but I was. I was originally going to cut off about 4 rows of length in each of the long garter sections too, but decided I didn’t need to do that.

I ended up with a little over half a skein remaining at the end, so I may or may not have had enough, but I think it would have been cutting it really close in either case, so I’m glad I did what I did.

It actually came out a little larger than the pattern specs, finishing at approx. 46” x 55”.

7” Clover Bamboo DPN’s for the border
