Avoid a veritcal skip in the pattern at the beginning ot the round: move the beginning-of-round marker, so that a round never starts inside a berry.

SWATCHING:

Knitting swatch flat, three pattern repeats on 4.5 mm needles. Yarn and needle size as specified in pattern, but I reversed the knitting direction to top-down, as I intend to do that for the entire sweater as well.
My personal threshold for how far I will carry a strand in colourwork is 5 stitches. The stitch pattern goes above this in a few places, and I experimented with ladderback jacquard to manage the floating strands (Happy with the result from both right side and wrong side )
The washed and blocked swatch meets the pattern’s specified gauge of 18 stitches per 10 cm.
