At the end this gave me 30 repeats of the Clematis edging on each side of the shawl. This might be one of the explanations why this project took me 20 years to finish. Over the years, it only surfaced occasionally to have a few repeats knitted on the edging, but at its last resurrection I finally did the outstanding one-and-a-half side. Hooray!
