Notes

Didn’t get gauge with US 4 needles, it was 1.5 inches too big. I got close to gauge using US3 (3.25mm) at 5” diameter.

Had 140g left after completing Chart 7, left for both sleeves. This is about 558 yards. When I did the sleeve math provided in the pattern, it said I needed 562 yards, so I ended up weighing the yarn after every repeat and evaluated if I might stop at that point based on if I liked the length of the sleeve. I really wanted a long sleeve so I kept going as long as I could.
Here are my measurements for each repeat on the first sleeve:
Start (w/t section) and 1st repeat: 10g
Second repeat: 8g
Third repeat: 8g
Fourth repeat: 7g
Fifth repeat: 7g
Sixth repeat: 6g
Seventh repeat: 8g
Since I wasn’t sure how much yardage was needed for the last part of the sleeves and the last section is double the rows of each repeat, I decided to stop after seven repeats to ensure I had enough yarn for both sleeves.
At the end of the 7th repeat on the first sleeve, I had 86g total which left 16g to finish the sleeve, since I still needed to keep 70g for the second sleeve. I finished this sleeve with 3g left (73g total).

On the second sleeve I started with 73g and ended with 11g left for the whole project.

Finished circular piece and edging 1/14/22. For edging, I used 27g of the second color (Blackwatch). This corresponds to 108 yards doing proportional math (150g = 600yds).

Used 42g of Second color for edging of shawl and sleeves, which is about 170 yards.
