Oct 2013: tried spinning carded fiber. Some went ok, but a lot of it is still sticky (despite not feeling sticky when carded) and it all needs to be rewashed again before it can comfortably be spun. Spun what I could for Spinzilla, about 317 yds singles (105+yds 3ply) (righthand skein in 2nd pic) posted HHS.

Sept 2013: Rewashed parts that were still sticky. Combing then drum carding continues.

Aug 2013: Started combing then drum carding.

July 2013: 2 1/2 lbs raw fleece has been washed. Now on to carding.

First four skeins finished May 21, total: 193 yds 3ply, 579 yds Singles.
Have not set the twist on first four skeins; keeping them in their “pre pooffed up state for more accurate consistency. Theoretically.

Second batch, carding started May 25.

6/4: spun three bobbins worth tonight.

6/10: have 11 bobbins worth spun as of tonight. Rolags rolled for another 4-5 bobbins, and about 5-6oz left to card up.

6/24: finished spinning. Almost finished plying.
7/6: plied last skein (#9)
